"Defying Gravity: The Untold Story of Women's Gymnastics" was just named the Outstanding Sports Program in the 2021 Producers Guild of America Awards.
The YouTube Originals six-part documentary series, which premiered in September 2020, explores what it takes to be an Elite gymnast, told through the voices of its greatest champions. Five All produced the project alongside Main Event Media/All3Media.
"Defying Gravity" was nominated alongside four HBO programs: "Hard Knocks: Los Angeles," "Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel," "Seeing America with Megan Rapinoe," and "The Shop: UNINTERRUPTED Featuring President Barack Obama."
